An Introduction into IDPA  (Level 1)

If you are interested in learning about “Dynamic Shooting”, this is the place and course to start with.

The International Defensive Pistol Association, founded in 1996, is an organization based in Bogata, Texas, that has created a shooting sport based on defensive pistol techniques, using equipment including full-charge service ammunition to solve simulated “real world” self-defence scenarios.

Course space is available for 10 MDRGC MEMBERS!

PRE REGISTRATION ONLY.   Registration will open 30 days prior to the course on the “practiscore” website.
All those interested must register on practiscore website prior to registering for the course, and look for the “Introduction to IDPA Course” at Mission Rod & Gun.         NO WALK ONS WILL BE PERMITTED.

Course Fee is $50.00         This event will sell out fast, so if interested be on the ball and get it done!!!!

This is a whole day event, starting at 8:30 am and carrying through to 5:00 pm.

Required Equipment:   Serviceable Centerfire Pistol, 3 mags, Strong side OWB holster, cover garment, ear and eye protection and 250 rounds

Lunch is available at the MDRGC Club Canteen if you so choose.  (the canteen is cash only)

There will be a full range closure in effect for the Pistol Range while the course is in session!
